Margaret (Dodie) Hargrove Liles, of Prospect, TN, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020. She was a graduate of Prospect High School and received a master’s Degree from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. She was an educator, Registered Dietitian, Nutritionist, and worked as the Foodservice Supervisor of Giles County Schools.
Dodie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She was the organist and a dedicated member of Prospect United Methodist Church, where she used her many talents to serve the church and the local community. She served as district and local president of the United Methodist Women.
The family will receive friends 5:00pm to 7:00pm Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Bennett May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 11:00am Monday, September 7, 2020 at Prospect United Methodist Church

Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery.

Preceded in death by her parents John Nolan and Margaret Hargrove, and brother-in-law Charlie Stanford. She is survived by her husband, Robert O. Liles; son Robert N. (Dottie) Liles; son John Stephen (Steve) Liles; granddaughter Margaret (Drew) Bridges; sister Sue (Dickey) Hobbs; sister Elizabeth Stanford, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other special family members.
