Florence Man Dies After Motorcycle Collides With Auto

ROGERSVILLE-On Wednesday, September 9 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency report a two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle has take the life of one person:

“A two-vehicle crash at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2020, has claimed the life of a Florence man.

Tanner Dale Hamilton, 23-year-old male, was killed when the 2008 Honda CBR 1000 motorcycle he was driving collided with a 2018 Toyota Camry, being driven by 58-year-old male, James David Elam, of Rogersville, Alabama. Hamilton died of his injuries at Athens Hospital. Elam was not injured in the crash.

The crash occurred on US 72, west of County Road 113 near Elgin Crossroads, approximately 5 miles west of Rogersville, Alabama. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
