Terry Ray Booker, 66, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, September 5, 2020, at his residence. Terry was a member of Eastport Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was retired from Tishomingo County Electric Power Association and was a member of the Eastport Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening, and loved taking care of his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Booker of Iuka; one son, Eric Booker (Heather) of Iuka; one daughter, Stephanie Phifer (Benny) of Tuscumbia, AL; one sister, Patsy Wilson (Don) of Iuka; six grandchildren, Sean Glidewell, Ashley Booker, Madelyn Booker, Houston Mitchell, Emily Mitchell, and Brandon Mitchell; and two sisters-in-law, Charlotte Nunley and Laura Booker, both of Iuka. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence “Dudie” and Mary “Polly” Thorne Booker; and a brother, Ricky Booker. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. A public graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., September 7, at Eastport Cemetery, officiated by Bro. Sean Glidewell. Interment will follow in Eastport Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jerry White, Kevin Wilson, Ritchie Booker, Greg Booker, Brandon Mitchell, and Luke Pounders. Visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to service time at the cemetery on Monday.
