Mrs. Barbara Jo Kelley of Union Grove, Alabama; passed away at Marshall Medical Center North in the early hours of Friday – August 28, 2020 at the age of 78 years.
Mrs. Kelley was born the daughter of Pat Sarchfield Reliford and Evie Idell Pannell Reliford on September 14, 1941 in Marshall County, Alabama. Mrs. Kelly was a retired Marshall County Schools Bus driver and enjoyed partaking in some of life little pleasures, such as; gardening, canning and listening to southern gospel music, but more than anything she loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Kelley will be forever remembered y her beloved husband of 60 years; Billy Gene Kelley; sons, David Kelley (Melba) and Larry Kelley; daughters, Doris Breedwell (Bobby) and Lisa Davis; sisters, Dorothy Hayes, Nellie Wray and Patsy Humphries-Freeman (Fred); 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents; Mr. Kelley is at last reunited with her brothers; Grady Reliford and Pat Reliford Jr.; sisters, Ruby Harbin and Martha Reliford.
A Visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Sunday – August 30, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Sunday – August 30, 2020 starting at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Tommy Fox, officiating.
Interment will follow services immediately at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery
Pallbearers escorting Mrs. Kelley to her final resting place will include; Matthew Breedwell, Billy Breedwell, Jarrod Davis, David Kelley Jr., Jacob Kelley and Terry Hayes.
