Sammy Hayes, age 83, of Albertville, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020.
His funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Douglas Cemetery. Rev. Joey Cannady will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jason Powers, Chad Powers, Derek Hayes, John Warren, David Roberts and Phillip Roberts. Visitation will be from 2 until 3 before the service.
He is survived by his daughters, Cheri Powers (Michael) and Charlene Hayes, son, Steve Hayes (Kim) , grandchildren, Chad Powers, Jason Powers, Hilary Dahlke (Beau), Derek Hayes and Hannah Hayes, step-grandchildren, Kayla Booth, Maddie Booth and Gile Booth, great-grandson, Jones Dahlke, and brother, Donnie Hayes.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Hayes, parents, Grady Hayes and Catherine Rollins, granddaughter, Miranda Powers, great-grandson, Micah Powers, and brother, Harlan Hayes.
