FLORENCE-On Thursday, August 27 the Florence Police Department issued a statement regarding the arrest after a grand jury indictment by Lauderdale County Grand Jury for rape and Sexual Abuse Of A child:
“On August 27, 2020, the Florence Police Department arrested Brandon Keith Richardson (11/10/1982) on indictments handed down from the Lauderdale County Grand Jury.
He was charged with two counts of Rape in the first degree, Sodomy in the first degree and 5 counts of Sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old. He was taken to the Lauderdale County Detention Center and has a bond of $430,000.
Due to the nature of the charges, the identity of the victims nor any other information will be released at this time.”
