Florence City Schools Get Back To Basics With A New Way Of Learning

FLORENCE-Thursday was a big day for Florence City Schools. After more than five months, students return to campuses across the school district. New guidelines, health procedures, virtual learning and lots of good hygiene make for a very different start to this School year for Florece City School students.

The Florence City Schools 2020 Back to School Guidance Plan released on July 30th states, “Access to visitors will be very limited, especially at the beginning of the school year, on all Florence City Schools campuses.”

Students and teachers alike were glad to get back to the learning routine…even when social distancing is the norm.  Here are just a few pictures of what this school year will look like for students and teachers:
