Graveside Service for Mr. Charles Robert Williams, 98 of Decatur will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Sterrs Cemetery with the Reverend Edward Raybon officiating. Public viewing will be Sunday from noon till 4 at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Charles Robert Williams was born on May 5, 1922 to the late Dillard and Ethel Williams in Morgan County, Alabama.  He went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2020 in Huntsville, Alabama.

He attended schools in Morgan County. Charles accepted Christ at an early age.  He was the oldest member of Macedonia C.P Church in America.

Charles worked at Wolverine Tube for many years. After leaving Wolverine, he worked at Champion Paper Mills for over 30 years, where he retired.

He was married to the late Marjorie Renae Williams and to this union three children were born, Debra Williams Isler, Janice Williams and the late Jerome Williams.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife; parents; a son, Jerome Williams; siblings, the Rev. Jimmy Williams, Nettie Fowler, Mary Daniels, Leon Williams, Fred Williams  and Melvin Williams.

Charles leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters, Debra Williams Isler of Decatur and Janice Williams of Spokane, WA; grandchildren, Andreal (Tina) Climons, Tampatha Climons, Akeshia Climons, Demetria Williams, Natasha Williams and Zandria Williams; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
