Nathan James Johnson, age 23 passed away Saturday morning August 1, 2020 at Jackson General Hospital as the result of a motor vehicle accident.

Nathan was born in Jackson, the son of James Anthony ‘Jim’ Johnson and Amanda Frances Willis. He was a 2015 graduate of Chester County High School. He attended Jackson State Community College and was working for Tim Ferguson Plumbing as a plumber. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved working on cars and he always put his family first. He was very laid back and easy going and well liked.

He attended Sweet Lips Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents Jim and Amanda Johnson, a sister Emily Johnson, his grandparents Don and Frances Willis all of Henderson and grandparent Yvonne Johnson (the late Nicky Johnson) of Lexington and uncles Nicky Johnson of Lexington and Toby Willis of Seattle, WA.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Ricky Tedford officiating. Burial will be at Middlefork Cemetery near Luray.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue from 5:00 pm until 8:00 PM Monday.
