James Edward Moore James Edward Moore of Lynnville passed away peacefully on July 31, 2020 at his home. He was born in Pulaski on April 19, 1931 and was 89 years old.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. James was a longtime member of Lynnville United Methodist Church. He served in the United States Airforce during the Korean War. James worked at Dupont in Columbia and the Giles County CO-OP until retiring to farming. He was a lifelong, second generation beekeeper. His all-time joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 2nd from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce
Funeral Home and Crematory. The family suggest mask and social distancing.

Funeral Service takes place on Monday, August 3rd at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home. The family suggest mask and social distancing.

Burial will follow in Lynnwood Cemetery

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Lynnwood Cemetery, P O Box 305, Lynnville, TN. 38472.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Wilburn Moore, parents, James Washington and Lillian Hight Moore.
He is survived by his

Daughter, Wanda (Terry) Peery of Columbia, TN.

Daisy (Mike) Romanek of Lynnville, TN.
Denise Moore of Lynnville, TN.
Rachel Peery of Lynnville, TN.
Daniel Peery of Murfreesboro, TN.
6 Great-Grandchildren
Brother, Jerry Thomas (Jean) Moore of Clarksville, TN.
Sister, Bettye (Howard Dean) Luna of Lynnville, TN.
Several Nieces and nephews also survive.
