Birdie Marie Mason of Pulaski passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Maury Regional Hospital. She was born in Pulaski, TN on September 20, 1948 and was 71 years old.
Birdie married Will Mason on December 24, 1968. She professed Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Taylor Street Church of Christ and loved to fellowship at Macedonia Church of Christ in Columbia, TN. She worked at NHC Healthcare until her health declined in December 2019. Birdie was a diligent worker. She was always helping and caring for others and assisting Will with the business. Her most favorable moments were the time she spent cooking, shopping, and spending time with her family.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 1st at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with Markus Houston officiating.
Burial will follow in Everbright Cemetery
She was preceded in death by her parents, Odell and Mary Elizabeth Simmons Mitchell, Sr., sisters, Geneva Mitchell, Sally Pearl Mitchell, Rosie Lee Mitchell, and Norma Jean Mitchell, and brothers, Arrow Lee Mitchell, and Willie Lee Mitchell.
