Mr. James "Jim" Anderson  Mr. James “Jim” Anderson ,age 91 of Madison, Alabama passed away at Huntsville Hospital on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 after suffering many years from Parkinson’s Disease.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruby Nell Holt Anderson; his sister, Margaret Farrow; his daughter, Linda Jones and her husband Randy; his son, James Robert Anderson and his wife Carrie; four grandchildren, Laura Anderson, Julie Anderson, Matthew Anderson, and Austin Jones; and his son-in-law, Jonathan Macy.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Anderson Macy; his parents, Edward and Lessie Mazy Anderson; and his brother, Edward Anderson, Jr. and Philip Anderson.

Mr. Anderson graduated from Lincoln High School and the University of Alabama. He served as a medic in the Korean War. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Akron, Ohio and Scottsboro, Alabama for 30 years, working a manager of Quality Control. He was also a member of Broad Street Church of Christ in Scottsboro, where he served as a deacon.

Due to the extenuating circumstances, a private family service was held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 with his son-in-law, Randy Jones officiating. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Broad Street Church of Christ.
