Mr. William Edward "Ed" Ledbetter Mr. William Edward “Ed” Ledbetter, age 75 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away Monday, July 13, 2020.

Ed is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Chris) Grant ; son, Timothy Ledbetter; grandchildren, Trevor (Whitney) Ledbetter, Tailor Ledbetter, and Landon Grant; sister, Mary Gamble; brother-in-law, Collis Sims (Judy) Jr.; aunt by marriage, Marjorie Self; and also a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, his Smyrna Holiness Church family of 45 years, and many, many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Miriam Sims Ledbetter; his parents, Grady & Bessie Ledbetter; sister, Betty Moses; and brother-in-law, David Gamble.

Due to extenuating circumstances, the family is deeply saddened to announce that they will be holding a private Celebration of Life service on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Smyrna Holiness Church with burial immediately following in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Pat Coffey and Rev. Collis Sims III will be officiating. Rev. Edward Atchley and Bro. Kevin Key will be honorary officiants. Bryson Bridges, Logan Coffey, Weston Gilliam, Manuel Melendez, Matthew Sims, and Hayden Tice will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Coffey, Fred Gilliam, Darrel Kilgore, Sr., Bo Owens, Neal Pendergrast, and Tim Smith.

There will be a link to a recording of the service posted soon after the funeral for all who could not attend but would like to view the service. Murfreesboro Flower Shoppe and LeAnne Bridges Flower Shop will be assisting with flower arrangements. The family appreciates every kind word, kind deed, every thought, and every prayer that has been shown to them during this very difficult time.
