MUSCLE SHOALS – At 5 PM this afternoon (Thursday) a state wide face mask wearing order went into effect. From the looks of it, folks visiting the Walmart in Muscle Shoals appeared to be showing compliance with Alabama Governor Kay Ivey’s order. The Quad Cities Daily showed up a few minutes early to the public parking lot to take a look at the level of compliance. And from all appearances, when the clock hit FIVE, everybody walking in to the business was in compliance. In fact, Walmart had a taped off walkway into the entrance and was giving out face masks to shoppers who didn’t have a mask.
So, if every business in The Shoals follows Walmart”s example, the mask wearing order should be effective.
