Mr. Jackie LaWayne Griggs, age 64, of Arab, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020.
Mr. Griggs was born to the late Mr. Elbert Otto Griggs and Flora Arlene Johnson Griggs on July 19, 1955. Mr. Griggs was passionate about farming and tending to his cattle. In his past time he enjoyed tinkering with old cars.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathi Griggs; son, Jeremy (Leslie) Griggs; daughter, Jennifer Gilbreath; grandchildren, Crimson Chambers, Jaxon Griggs, Graylyn Gilbreath; sister, Glennis Griggs; special brother, David Helton. In addition to his parents his is preceded in death by a brother, Joe Griggs.
The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to the Shriners Burn Hospital for Children, 3229 Burnet Ave. # 3018 Cincinnati, Ohio 45229, which was an organization Mr. Griggs treasured dearly.
