Verlon “Chick” Gentry, 88, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born June 1, 1932 to the late Willie Bryant Gentry and the late Jessie Brazil Gentry. He enjoyed fishing and being with his family.
A graveside service will be 11:00 am on Thursday July 2, 2020 at Sandy Springs Cemetery with Ricky Nichols officiating. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include his daughter, Gidget (Delbert) Williams of Nettleton; son, Larry Gentry of Fulton; grandsons: Brent (Rebekah) Timms, Danny (Jessica) Smith, Dustin (Mary) Rambo, Noah Gentry; several great grandchildren; and his special friend, Nona Allred
Preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Leisa Gentry, sisters, Revis Cleveland and Oleta Nichols, brother, Vernon Gentry
