Faye Farris was born November 6, 1936 in Shreveport, LA the daughter of the late Carl and Elsie McNally O’Conner.
She was united in marriage to Bill Farris on May 5, 1955. Mr. Farris preceded her in death on March 25, 1995.
Mrs. Farris was a loving mother and friend. She always had a warm hug and smile. She was a member of the Center Hill Baptist Church in Counce, Tennessee.
Mrs. Farris departed this life on June 27, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 7 Months, 21 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Helen Whitaker of Selmer, TN, Vicky Carroll and husband Don of Selmer, TN; a sister, Loraine Davis of Greenville, MS; three grandchildren, Terry Whitaker of Michie, TN, Allen Carroll and wife Amanda of Omaha, NE, Nick Carroll and wife Jenna of Adamsville, TN; two great grandchildren, Raylan and Beau Carroll; a sister of the heart. Sue Box of Michie, TN; good friends, Lavone and Danny Monroe and Debbie Robertson all of Selmer, TN.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Farris was preceded in death by son-in-law, Ricky Whitaker.
