Flavius Haskiel “Hack” Massey, 83, died Friday, June 26, 2020 at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield, AL. He was born in Franklin County, AL and worked as a guard at Sunshine Homes, Red Bay, AL. He was a member of Hurricane Creek Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 27, 3:30 p.m. at Ebenezer Cemetery, Vina, AL with Bro. Jerry Humphries officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by one sister – Imogean Mitchell, Red Bay, AL; three nieces – Kim Lindsey, Patty Robbins and Joyce Orrick; six nephews – Randy Massey, Jackie Massey, Tommy Massey, Tony Massey, Ricky Mitchell and Johnny Cleveland and one sister-in-law – Ruby Faye Massey.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Louise Massey, his parents, L.A. and Omie Lee Jackson Massey and brothers and sisters, Newman Massey, Louise Cleveland, Bertha Lindsey and Troy Massey.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 12-3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
