Peggy Ann Richardson 76, of Toney, AL died Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at her home.
Born Thursday, August 5, 1943 in Ardmore, AL, she was the daughter of Roy Ables and Vinnie Jones Ables.
Ms. Peggy has lived here all her live and was a friend to everyone. She loved raising her 9 children and loved to work.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, John Wesley Brown, Sr.; 2nd husband, J.L. Bunn; son, Michael “Pickle” Brown; brothers, Weldon Ables, Flenoy Ables, and Eugene Ables; sister, Marie White,
She is survived by sons, Johnny (Angie) Brown, Toney, AL, Ricky Brown, Toney, AL, Terry Bunn, Toney, AL; daughters, Deanie (Mike) Carter, Athens, AL, Carla (David) Goolsby, Fayetteville, TN, Melody (Steve) Morrow, Hazel Green, AL, Shelia Hobbs, Toney, AL, Sherrie Eliff, Toney, AL; brothers – Wilburn (Janet) Ables, Cash Point, TN and Paul (Pete) Ables, Taft, TN; sister, Mary Lou (Ron) Fowler, Ardmore, AL; 14 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL, at 12:30 PM with Bro. Doran Smith officiating.
