Loyce M. Campbell, age 78 of Elba, AL (formerly of Athens), passed away Sunday June 21, 2020, at Troy Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be held Thursday June 25, 2020, at McConnell Funeral Home from 10:00am until 11:00am. The funeral will begin at 11:00am in the chapel, with interment to follow at Athens City Cemetery.
He was a Class of 1960 Athens High School graduate, served his country in the National Guard, loved to spend his time reading the newspaper, doing crossword and Sudoku puzzles, and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Mr. Campbell is survived by his daughters, Sarah Davis, Andrea (Jamie) Hudson, and Angie (Will) Moore; brother, Don Campbell; sisters, Doris Estes and Linda (Carl) Hall; grandchildren, Amber (Blake) Miller, James (Jessica Fox) Hudson, Paige Moore, Allison Moore, Vanessa Davis, Gracie Davis, Ceinna Davis, Michael Davis, and Dominic Davis; nephew, Lance Campbell; and nieces, Brandy Campbell, Melissa Freeman, Anne Hearn, and Claire Mooney.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Nina Bell Campbell.
