Mr. Kenneth Ray Yancey On Friday, June 19, 2020, Mr. Kenneth Ray Yancey of the Lacey Springs and Morgan City area, passed away at the age of 79 years.
Mr. Yancey, born to the late Huey Yancey and Cleo Wallace Yancey, was born in Morgan County, Alabama on the date of May 13, 1941. Mr. Yancey completed high school and furthered his career as a security guard for Pinkerton Security in Indiana; he later retired his position with the company later in his lifetime. Mr. Kenneth proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force.
Kenneth will be forever remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends he made throughout his life.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Yancey is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Butcher Yancey; brother, Alton Yancey; sisters, Bobbie Edwards, Jean Criscoe and Carolyn Moore.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Lacey Springs, Alabama.
Funeral Services in honor of Mr. Yancey will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2020 at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel, interment to follow at the Union Grove Cemetery in Lacey Springs, Alabama with Bro. Eldridge Criscoe & Bro. Robby Boyd, officiating.
Pallbearers will include; Greg Serrett, Tuck Smith, TK King, Bradley Thomas, Shawn Serrett and Matthew Whisenant.
Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel & Brindlee Mountain Chapel, directing.
