Marion Ned Haney 87, of Ardmore, AL died Thursday, June 18, 2020 at his home.
Born Wednesday, February 22, 1933 in Limestone County, AL, he was the son of J.E. “Stump” Haney and Jessie Fainer Dildine Haney. He was a member and deacon of Wooley Springs Baptist Church. Marion retired after 20 years of service at Wolverine Pipe Co. He served in the US Army from 1953-1956, and was a member of the Optimism Club of Ardmore, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ronald Haney, Hubert Haney, Bobby Haney, Dennis Haney, and Nolan Haney; sisters, Nadine Atchley and Sherry Blankenship.

Marion is survived by his wife, Edna Durham Haney, Ardmore, AL; son, Joe (Darlene) Haney, Elkmont, AL,; daughters, Diane (Barry) Johnson, Havelock, NC and Donna (Jackie) DuBois, Elkmont, AL; granddaughters, Krissy (Jeremy) Stephens, Jamestown, NC, Heather (Jonathan) Snider, Athens, AL, and Kate DuBois, Athens, AL; grandsons, Heath (Kelly) Haney, Ardmore, AL, Matthew (Ashley) Johnson, Willimgton, NC, and Chancey DuBois, Elkmont, AL; great-grandchildren, Landon and Luke Snider, Elsie Jo and Daniel Haney, Maddy and Blake Stephens, Jace Johnson, and Hank DuBois; brothers, Cloyd Haney, Elkmont, AL, and brother, Jimmy (Jean) Haney, Cartwright, AL; sister-in-laws, Gwen, Mary Ann, and Jean Haney all of Ardmore, AL.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM.

Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL, at 2:00 PM with Bro. Tony Boyles and Rev. Heath Haney officiating. Pallbearers will be Heath Haney, Matthew Johnson, Jonathan Snider, Jeremy Stephens, Landon Snider, and Chancey DuBois.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Limestone Veterans Burial Detail or Wooley Springs Baptist Church.
