Barbara grew up in the Detroit area of Michigan. Upon a visit to middle Tennessee she met the father of her children and love of her life Charles Malone and decided to take him back to Michigan to raise a family. Barbara raised her family with a kind and loving disposition, she was a wonderful mother. In addition to raising a family she worked for over 25 years with General Electric as a line operator.

When Barbara wasn’t working she followed her adventurous spirit. She absolutely loved to travel and if there was a car moving she would get in to see where it would lead. She traveled much of the United States as well into Canada and Mexico. Not only was Barbara adventurous but she was truly kind, and fun loving, generous, maybe even to a fault, but she would have had it no other way. She deeply loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and one can’t leave out her precious cats and dog. Barbara with her happy, carefree, and loving nature will be greatly missed.
