Edward “Ed” Barnes, 75, of Burnsville, MS, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at River Valley Rehabilitation in Blountstown, FL. Ed loved working on cars, lawnmowers, and Hamm and CB radios. He enjoyed coon hunting and training rabbit dogs. Before his sickness, he loved attending church and church functions and was a member of Biggersville United Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his daughter, Cyndi Barnes; his son, Chris Barnes; his sister, Marie Floyd (William); his nephew, Andy Floyd; his special cousins, Johnny Barnes, Jerry Barnes, Joey Barnes, and Jimmy Barnes; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Marshel and Evie Emaline Bacon Barnes; and his sister, Betty Jean Barnes. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 1pm until 2pm on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Services are scheduled for 2pm on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen, officiated by Bro. Mike Lee. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
