Brenda Kay Lamb Miles, age 66, wife of James Michael Miles, passed away Wednesday June 10, 2020 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond KY. Mrs. Miles was born August 11, 1953 in Carlisle, OH to the late James Everett and Ida Mae Huff Lamb. Brenda was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of Crestview Holy Sanctuary. She loved the Lord, singing gospel music, always helping others, and fostered over 72 children.
Other than her parents Brenda was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy, Ernie, and Larry Lamb, and son-in-law Jody Wileman.
Other than her husband Brenda is survived by two sons, Rod Stidham and his wife Amanda, David Miles and his wife Amber, four daughters, Reniee Wileman, Pam Holcomb and her husband Terry, Christy Burcham and her husband Nicky, Misty Myrick and her husband Jerry, four brothers, Isom Lamb and his wife Martha of Berea, KY, Leroy Lamb and his wife Mary of Berea, KY, Paul Lamb and his wife Melinda of Berea, KY, Calvin Lamb and his wife Jenny of Berea, KY, one sister, Barbara Lamb of Berea, KY, mother-in-law, Willa Dean Miles, 15 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8PM Friday June 12, 2020 with funeral services at 8PM at Crestview Holy Sanctuary, with Rev. Richard Howard officiating. Graveside services will be 2:00PM Sunday June 14, 2020 at Cooper Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, 120 Cooper Church Rd. Detroit, Al 35552.
