Tim “Bucky” Buchanan, 45, of Tishomingo, MS passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Bucky was a member of Tishomingo Baptist Church. He was currently serving as Master of TIshomingo Lodge #522 F&AM. He was also a member of Iuka Lodge #94 F&AM and a York Rite Mason. Bucky also enjoyed farming and spending time with his family, but his greatest blessing and joy in life was his granddaughter, Charlee. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Buchanan; his sons, Cory Buchanan and Jonathon Buchanan (Caitlin); his granddaughter, Charlee Buchanan; his parents, Robert and Brenda Buchanan; his grandmother, Helen Baker; his sisters, Amanda Pryce Jones (David) and Debbie Buchanan; his brother, Randy Buchanan; his friend and sidekick, David Whitfield; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Buchanan Sr. and Herman and Opaline Golding. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka from 5pm until 9pm. The body will lie in state at Tishomingo Baptist Church on Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 12 Noon until 3pm. Services will be on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Tishomingo Baptist Church at 3pm. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Whitfield, Billy Daniels, Talmadge Powers, Trey Fuller, Eb Gronke, David Pryce Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Bucky’s nephews.
