Graveside services for Mrs. Sonna Fae Cogdell Ray, age 70, are scheduled for 12 pm, Wednesday, June 10 at Darden Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ray passed away Monday at her home in Huntingdon. She was born August 20, 1949 in Henderson County to the late David Timothy and Elvie Sue Hemby Cogdell. She was a celebrated receptionist at Camden Hospital and a member of Tate Pentecostal Church. She loved the Lord, her church, and her family. She was a loving wife, precious mother, and proud Nana and she loved to read. Mrs. Ray was always a joy to be around. She was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Cogdell and her sister, Freda Ann Stanfill. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Mr. Vick Ray; her son, Ricky Lee Barham; and her granddaughter, Brylee Grace Barham.
