Mr. Leslie Gene Gold, 71, of Albertville, died on Friday, May 29, 2020. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. A.D. Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at Goosepond Cemetery. There will be a visitation service on Saturday, May 30, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 31, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Mr. Gold is survived by his daughters, Shelia (Larry) Olinger, Joyce Gold, and Barbara (Shannon) Hinkle; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Bobby) Talley and Cynthia (Paul) Clements; brothers, Boyd (Janie) Wiser and Jimmy (Glenda) Gold; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Edith Gold; sisters, Reesa Gentle and Lila Ruth Humphries; and brother, Terry Gold.
