Michael Andy “Mike” Bell

Michael Andy “Mike” Bell, 58, departed this life unexpectedly from an apparent heart attack at his residence in Pontotoc County. Mike entered this world on Feb. 26, 1962. He spent much of his childhood and youth in Verona where he was active at the First Baptist Church-Verona with his family. He graduated Shannon High School and spent his working life in the furniture industry most recently in the shipping department. Mike loved the outdoors, especially fishing, riding four-wheelers, and mowing his yard. He married Sherry Ann Hall on July 21, 2017 and she survives.

A memorial service honoring his life will begin at 12:30 PM Saturday, May 30, 2020 in the Small Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors – Tupelo. Rev. Dr. David Hamilton, long-time family friend and former pastor, will officiate. Condolences may be emailed to hollandfuneraldirectors@comcast.net.

In addition to his wife, Sherry, Mike leaves behind his beloved Uncle Johnny Bell of Navarre, FL; his sisters, Kim Lothorp (Kevin), Sonja Hass (Tom), and Kristen Logan (Josh); his step-dad, Henry Williams; his three step-grandchildren, McKenzie, Miracle, and Aiden; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other near relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Annie Sue Bell; his mother, Shirley Bell Williams; his aunts and uncles, Lonnie Bell and Robert Bell; and a cousin, Craig Bell.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
