Two Dead After Two-Vehicle Accident Near Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE-On Friday, May 29 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident that has taken the lives of two people.  the accident occurred on Thursday, May 29:

“A two-vehicle crash at 8:05 p.m. Thursday, May 28, has claimed two lives.

Eric Nathanael Barbee, 40, of New Market, was killed when the 2004 Suzuki GSXR motorcycle he was driving stuck a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. Barbee, and a female rider, Cristy Marie Calloway, 33, of New Market, were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a passenger of the Chevrolet were uninjured.

The crash occurred on Maysville Road, six miles north of Huntsville. Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.”
