It is with regret we announce the passing of Mr. Timothy Henry Herbert Griswold, age 65, of Fayetteville, TN. Mr. Griswold was born on October 13, 1954 in LaFayette, IN to James Leroy and Eva Mae Griswold. He passed away on May 8, 2020, at Tennessee Veterans Hospital, Nashville, TN.
Timothy served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed working in the yard, watching westerns, woodworking, painting, drawing, and spending time with his family and beloved grandchildren. His sense of humor brought smiles to everyone he met.
Survivors include his wife Janet Griswold; children, Timothy (Susan) Griswold, April Franklin, Jennifer (Timmy) Thompson, and Buffy Vaughn; grandchildren, Zoe Griswold, Chelsea Franklin, Kayla Franklin, Lillian Brown, Destiny Brown, Chris Brown, Thomas Vaughn, Aubrey Vaughn, Taylor Thompson, Shayden Thompson, Cadiden Thompson, and Daelyn Thompson; sisters, Billie Jo Fite and Marilyn Delight Scott.
In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by his siblings, Bobby Partor, Jimmy Ray Griswold, and Marsha Kay Howell.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there will be no public gathering at this time. A private family service will be held with Bro. Billy Hall officiating, burial in Macedonia Cemetery. The family invites you to share memories at higginsfh.com.
