COVID-19 Cases Jump To 3,734 With 62 Confirmed Deaths

MONTGOMERY-China on Monday reported its highest number of new COVID-19 cases since early March, most of them involving people returning from other countries. The take on this is heightened fears of a second wave and led to new constraints on travel in China. Meanwhile in South Korea  25 new COVID-19 cases and three new deaths have been reported the first jump in several days on this front. It appears this pandemic is far from over.

In the United states there are 557,590 confirmed cases of COVID-19 22,109 confirmed deaths with a total of 2,816,831 tests administered information obtained from John Hopkins University.

On that note as of 4:30 PM on Monday, April 13 Alabama has 3,734 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 29,140 total tests and 99 reported deaths with 62 of those deaths confirmed.  457 people are currently in the hospital with COVID-19.

Cases of COVID-19 in North Alabama:  Colbert 10, Cullman 39, Dekalb 27, Etowah 77,  Franklin 10, Jackson 26, Lauderdale 22, Lawrence 8, Limestone 37, Madison 187, Marshall 100, Morgan 41, Walker 84 and Winston 4.  Deaths total 23 confirmed in Northern Alabama.
