Moulton Man Dies After His Tractor Overturns On Alabama 157 Near Alabama 33

MOULTON-On Monday, April 6 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that has taken the life of a Moulton man.

” A single-vehicle crash at 1:41 p.m. today, April 6, has claimed the life of a Moulton man.

Melvin Hagood, 72, was operating a 241 Massey Ferguson tractor on the southbound shoulder of Alabama 157 near Alabama 33 when the tractor left the shoulder of the road and overturned down an embankment. 

Hagood was killed in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.  Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.”
