Dalton Vinson Sparks, 89, died Saturday, April 4, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Belmont, MS to Willis Vinson and Maggie Isabell Scott Sparks. He was retired from Sears Electronics as a supervisor where he worked for 36 years. He was a member of Old Union Baptist Church in Verona, MS where he served as deacon for many years.
Graveside services will be Monday, April 6, 1 p.m. at Lee Memorial Park in Verona, MS with Haskell Sparks officiating. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his daughter-Judy Humphries (Steve); five grandchildren-Adam Humphries (Stephanie), Amy Larison (Joe), Josh Sparks (Terah), Becky Luker (Mark) and Caleb Sparks (Misty); fifteen great-grandchildren; two sisters-Peggy Adams (Jake) and Myra Sparks and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife-Maxine Pendegraph Sparks; two sons-Danny Sparks and Tim Sparks and several brothers and sisters.
