FLORENCE-Feeding the Falcons surpasses 5,000 meals for our community’s children. Beginning next week, April 7th, we will be shifting to Tuesday and Thursday drive-thru and drop zone meal pick-up. On those days, our volunteers will provide multiple meals to children age 18 or younger (children must be present). Distributed meal bags include a USDA regulated breakfast, lunch, and drink.
Drive-thru locations will continue to operate from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the following facilities:
– W.C. Handy Preschool
– Harlan Elementary School
– Weeden Elementary School
– Florence Middle School
– Church of the Highlands @ The Shoals Marriott Conference Center
– The Dream Center on Cloverdale Road
Drop Zone locations will continue to operate from 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the following facilities:
– Cherry Hill Homes @ the former Boys & Girls Club
– Hibbett Middle School
