  Welcome to the City of Florence, AlabamaFLORENCE-COVID-19 Response Update:Florence Utilities will continue to suspend disconnections and late fees through April 15.

In an effort to help customers who are currently impacted by the COVID-19, Florence Utilities will continue to suspend disconnections for non-payment of utility services and not applying late payment fees to accounts through April 15th.  Florence Utilities will bill normally and process payments. Even though services will not be disconnected for nonpayment, customers are still responsible for their bill. Customers can contact our Collections Department at 256-760-6525 to get specific information on individual circumstances and can arrange for extensions and payment options. The Florence Utilities will continue to accept payments through the drive-through, dropbox (Short Court St./Side entrance), or online at https://ebiz.florenceutilities.com/. The situation is very fluid and will be re-evaluated continuously. Please check the City of Florence Facebook and florenceal.org for updates.

For convenience, the Florence Utility drive-thru hours will be extended on Wednesday, April 1, Thursday, April 2, and Friday, April 3 from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
