Two-Vehicle Accident Near Huntsville Claim Lives Of Two People

HUNTSVILLE-On Sunday, March 29 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency report a two-vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday evening that has taken the lives of two people:

“A two-vehicle crash at 11:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28 has claimed two lives.

Wesley Hawkins, 37, of Meridianville was killed when the 2006 Buick Lacrosse he was driving struck a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Hawkins and a 17-year-old passenger, who were not using seat belts, were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger in the Jeep were injured and transported to a local area hospital.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Oscar Patterson Road and Winchester Road six miles north of Huntsville. Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.”
