Head-On Collision Near Danville Takes The Lives Husband And Wife Dead

DANVILLE-On Sunday, March 22 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident that has taken the lives of a husband and wife and one other person in the hospital:

“A two-vehicle crash at 2:50 p.m. Saturday, March 21, has claimed two lives.

 Kenneth Harris Turner, 50, of Hartselle was seriously injured when the 2016 Mazda 6 he was driving collided head on with a 2014 Ford F250 driven by Hunter Scott Braswell, 24, of Hartselle.

Kenneth Turner, and his wife, Wendi Zanda Turner, 51, were airlifted to Huntsville Hospital where they later died. A juvenile passenger in the Mazda 6 was transported by ambulance to Huntsville Hospital. The driver of the Ford F-250 was not injured.

The crash occurred on Danville Road four miles north of Danville. Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.”
