Donald Lee Lydic, age 75, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away March 17, 2020. He was a software engineer with Fed Ex Corp, a member of Maxwell Chapel Church, and an avid golfer, a member of Twin Pines Golf course. Mr. Lydic served in the United States Air Force.

A Graveside Service only is Friday, March 20, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery, Phil Campbell, Alabama.

He is survived by his children, William “Bill” Lydic of Phil Campbell, Beth Lydic of Huntsville and Donald “Bender” Lydic of Phil Campbell; grandchildren, Amanda Pace, Victoria Lydic and Lauren Lydic of Russellville; great grandchildren, Chance Pennington, Liam McDowell and Amelia Trapp of Russellville; former wife and mother of his children, Lois Lydic of Phil Campbell; siblings, William “Bill” Lydic, wife Shirley of Clearwater, Fl., James “Jim” Lydic of Ft. Myers, Fl., and Rebecca Carrington, husband Mike, of Ft. Myers, Fl., nieces and nephews, Lynn Samela- Oakville, Ct., John Carrington, James Carrington, Joseph Carrington of Ft. Myers, Fl., Robby Lydic and Brian Lydic of Florida.

He as preceded in death by wife, Fayrine Lydic; parents, William F.and Rebecca Lydic,
brother, Robert “Bob”Lydic and nephew, David Lydic.
