Johnny Veto Gann, 73, died Monday, March 16, 2020 at his residence.
He was born in Belgreen, AL to Eules Veto and Pearlie Mae Keeton Gann and worked as a logger.
Services will be Thursday, March 19, 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Pastor Toby Allison officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his wife – Rita Gann, Golden, MS; two daughters – Christina Miller (Deshun) Red Bay, AL and Jennifer Mayhall, Golden, MS; one son – Johnny Brian Gann, Golden, MS; six grandchildren – Dalton Mayhall, Abagail Mayhall, Jackson Mayhall, Toby Mayhall, Grace Miller and Colton Thompson; three sisters – Brenda Gail Reece, Nancy Riddle and Sandra Palmer; three brothers – Leroy Gann, Charles Gann and Terry Gann; two step-brothers – Phillip Palmer and Michael Palmer and his step-mother– Birdie Mae Gann.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Betty Barnett and a step-sister, Shirley Patterson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, 6-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL
