FLORENCE-Sunday’s scheduled event “Abolition, Women’s Suffrage, and the Right to Vote” taking place at the Florence-Lauderdale Public Library is canceled for now. The speaker is unable to travel in from Nashville at this time. FLPL hopes to reschedule for a later date.

On another note… many of our patrons may be avoiding public places right now due to health concerns, and we want our community to be safe and healthy. Therefore, we are suspending all
fines until further notice, so you do not have to worry about returning books during the current crisis.

If you need to use the internet but prefer to not come inside the library, our WiFi is accessible in the vicinity of the library, using your library card. Also, remember that our ebooks are available 24/7 from anywhere in the world at https://dmz.overdrive.com or through the OverDrive and Libby apps.

We are monitoring the situation and will provide updates if there are any changes to our services.
