ATHENS-The City of Athens has some activities set for the rest of March.  Find the one that best suits you and support the efforts to make Athens a great place to live and work!

Recycle Old Eyeglasses
Athens-Limestone Tourism has partnered with the Athens Lions Club to collect old prescription glasses, sunglasses, and over-the-counter readers as part of the Lions Vision Program.
You can drop off the glasses through March 31 st at the Athens-Limestone Visitors Center at 100 North Beaty Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
The glasses collected are sent by the Lions Club to Moody, Ala., and are processed to determine prescription strengths so they can be distributed as needed throughout Alabama.
