Mr. Darren Walker, age 54, of Arab, passed this life on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Walker, a lifelong resident of Arab, Alabama, was born on August 24th, 1965 to the late Mattie Ann King Walker and Franklin Walker. He enjoyed playing golf and a good game of dominoes as well as working on old cars and Alabama Crimson Tide Football.
In addition to his parents, Darren was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Walker.
Mr. Walker will be greatly missed by his two loving daughters, Ashleigh D. Harris (Casey) and Leandra N. Walker; two brothers, Tony Walker (Cindy) and Rodney Walker (Samantha); as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service begins in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28th, 2020 with interment to follow at Arab Memorial Cemetery. Bro. Donald King officiating.
Matthew Walker, Eric Walker, Shannon Walker, Greg Walker, David Kellar, and Clint Smith will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Walker’s family respectfully requests that donations be made to Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel to help with funeral expenses in lieu of flowers.
