Albertville Funeral Home Downtown announces the death of Mae Belle Cagle Ogle, 90, of Horton, AL, who passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at Marshall Medical Center North. Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel with burial to follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Verlon Willmon will officiate. Pallbearers will be Aaron Lang, Alex Lang, Chris Otinger, Skylar Otinger, Craig Ogle, Tyler Cravens. The family will visit with friends Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Horace Vernon Ogle, mother, Sarah Paralee Cagle, father, Arthur Edward Cagle, son, Harvey Ogle (Peggy), grandson, Adrian Adam Lang, brothers, William “Bill” Cagle, Howard Cagle. She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Perry, Sarah Lang (Allen), sons, Mark Ogle (Kelly), Tim Ogle (Lynn), sisters, Laura Makowski, Barbara Little (Johnny), 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren.
Mae Belle Ogle was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a homemaker. She loved family, friends, church and cherished family reunions. For a few years she and Horace were small scale farmers raising cotton and corn. Mae Belle loved quilting, gardening, flowers, and loved to fish. She loved going to church, visiting many churches, and attended Bonds Chapel Holiness Church until her health declined. She loved her family, her church family and friends. Albertville Funeral Home Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
