Minnie Owens Echols Tibbitt, age 90, of Boaz, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at Barfield Health Care in Guntersville.
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. John Pond will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, from 12:30 until 2 before the service.
She is survived by her children, Joyce Watters (Mac), Sheila Smith (Michael) and Keith Echols (Judy), ten grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren, step-son, Coy Tibbitt (Delores), sisters, Gladys Smith and Sula Campbell, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, John L. Echols, James A. Tibbitt, son, Roger Echols, parents, Walter and Bertha Owens, five brothers and two sisters.
