Mary Floyd of Selmer, Tennessee Mary Floyd was born December 14, 1942 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Dolphus Burl Armour, Sr. and Deffie Rowland Armour.

Ms. Floyd was the matriarch of her family-the glue and love that bonded everyone together. She was a nurturer, mother, grandmother, soccer fan, adviser, sideline soccer coach, a collector of frogs and snowmen, a fast driver, but most importantly she was a Christian lady whose heart was always open to love and encourage others. She was the grandmother who never missed a high school or college soccer game. Her involvement in the lives of her grandchildren brought her much joy and happiness.

Ms. Floyd worked at Jetrick’s Manufacturing for over 30 years and retired from Lakeview Baptist Church. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee.

Ms. Floyd departed this life on February 21, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 2 Months, 7 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Sherry Floyd and fiance Dan Lungren of Selmer, TN; a son, Darryl Floyd and wife Leanne of Selmer, TN; a sister, Melba Harrison of Selmer, TN; three brothers, Dolphis Armour and wife Naomi of Selmer, TN, James Armour and wife Joyce of Selmer, TN, Ronald Armour and wife Faye of Selmer, TN; three grandchildren, Brooke Moore and husband Sean of Selmer, TN, Alece Floyd of Corinth, MS, Alek Floyd and wife Amber of Selmer, TN; four great grandchildren, Gavin Fowler, Rylee Fowler, Skyler Cox, Alyvia Floyd; step great grandchild, Alliyah Moore; great great grandchild, Bexleigh Harbin; and a host of extended family and friends.
