FLORENCE-25th Annual Urban Forestry and Horticulture Conference will be held Thursday, March 12, 2020 and Friday, March 13, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day at the Cross Point Church of Christ 1350 Cox Creek Parkway Florence, AL.
The theme of this year’s event is “Our Weather, Our World, Our Landscape.” Keynote speaker is Chris Francis, a Board Certified Master Arborist and owner of Chris Francis Tree Care, Daphne, AL. The early registration cost is $45.00 and includes lunch.
Recertification classes for Green Industry Professionals will be Thursday, March 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Participants can receive recertification points and CEU’s.
The Public is invited. On-site registration starts at 8:00 a.m., and the cost is $50.00.
The Conference is sponsored by the City of Florence Mayor and City Council, the Florence Beautification Board, the Florence Tree Commission, and the City’s Urban Forestry/Horticultural Department.
