Killen Man Dies From Injuries Received In February 11 Two-Vehicle Accident

KILLEN-On Saturday, February 15 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-veichle accident occurred on Tuesday, February 11. One person has died On Friday, February 14 from injuries received in the accident:

“A two vehicle crash at 5:45 PM on February 11, has claimed the life of a Killen man.

Ed Norton Taylor III, 85, was injured in a crash that occurred at the intersection of County Road 31 and County Road 73 approximately 3 miles north of Killen.

Taylor was driving a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder east on County Road 73 and was in the process of crossing County Road 31 after stopping at a stop sign when he was struck by a vehicle travelling south on County Road 73. The second vehicle was a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado and neither the driver nor the two passengers in the Silverado were injured.

Taylor was transported to the North Alabama Medical Center where he died on 2/14/2020.  

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
