Leonard Frankie McCown 73, of Toney, AL died Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at his home.
Born Wednesday, July 10, 1946 in Decatur, AL, he was the son of the late Hubert Lee McCown and Mary Lucille Hemphill McCown.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Wright McCown, Toney, AL; sons, Clint (Whitney) Justin McCown, Toney, AL and Chad (Amelia) Denver McCown, Huntsville, AL; daughter, Traci (Joe) McKelvy, Decatur, AL; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and a great-grandchild on the way.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM with the Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 12:00 PM. Bro. Larry Bottom of Wooley Springs Baptist Church will be officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
Pallbearers will be Clint McCown, Chad McCown, Jacob McKelvy, Lucas McKelvy, Tommy Hopson and Michael Hopson. Honary pallbearers are Parker McCown, Colton McCown, Gary Mitchell and Donny Young.
The family will accept flowers or you may make donations to Hospice of Limestone County or The American Cancer Association.
