James Earl Dye, age 77, Haleyville, AL. passed away Wednesday February 5, 2020. He served in the Army National Guard, was a retired Logger, and a member of Old Trinity Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Friday February 7, 2020 from 11:00AM – 12:00Noon at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL., with the funeral at 12:00Noon in the chapel. Burial to follow in Old Trinity Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Kathy McGough Dye; sisters, Ruth Cook and Sara Faye (Mike) Moss; daughters, Tina Dye and Lynda Arnett; step-son, Randall Barber; 5 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emitt and Nellie Dye; sisters, Lynda Martello and Kathy Collins; brother, Carl Dye; daughter, Nellie Whitten; grandson, Andrew Arnett; great grandbabies, Deontia and Yasmine Lacey.
